These were from a camrea I put out on the 4th of July. I forgot to put in a memory card so I went back on the 7th and switched it out. The 16 MB onboard memory was full with 37 pictures taken on the 4th and 5th. These are the first cat pictures I have got. It looks like a female that's nursing a bat...

Cams out

Well I finally made the time to start putting my cams out. Had one up for two weks, it had 315 pictures on it and the only buck pictures were on the first night. I moved it to one of my old spots so we'll have to wait and see what shows up. I have a friend coming to shoe the horses this week so mayb...

Thanks for the replys. I'm still shooting my old XX75's with the 4" vanes. If I ever switch to carbon I'll make the step up to the blazers then. These old arrows still work and I have a hard time just putting them on the shelf and moving on. They are kind of like me, old and slow but they just keep ...

what do you think

Hi Guys, I always enjoy the posts that I find here on the form. And I learn a lot of things that make me a better bow hunter, and being a trinket junky I'm always looking for the next new gizmo that I REALLY NEED to have. I have seen several shows on the outdoor channel where they were using the "Bu...

Hiker, I set my snares so that they are 8" in diameter and 8" off the ground. This cat had slipped through far enough that the snare caught him around the waist. I know that they like to step over stuff instead of just plowing through like a coyote does but I still can't imagine how he got his head ...

The earlier posts said that you don't have to do a harvest report, that is only partly true. The state of Utah doesn't require one, but if you, No, I mean when you do get your buck you are required to report it here. complete with pictures and the full story. Welcome to the forum and good luck. Late...

Here in central Utah there isn't much really good hunting. The pheasants are ALL gone every last one, there are not many deer any more so hunting is pretty slow except for the elk hunt. This is the Pahvant unit and is one of the better elk hunts in the state. The rub is that it's so hard to draw. It...
