The pack in the picture is a Badlands 2200. I really like it and it looks like they've improved upon it some for 2007.

I live in AZ also, so elk if I can get drawn, or in the case of this year I'm helping a couple of buddies on their hunt, and mule deer and/or coues whitetail either over the counter archery tags or draw rifle tags.

Weekend Finds

Got out the first weekend of August scouting for deer for the upcoming archery deer season. Ended up being a pretty good weekend for me in regards to sheds. I took a lot of deer with a .308, but had been wanting a flatter shooting rifle. Got a good deal on a 7mm from a buddy, so picked that up last summer. Used it last season on my buck and will probably be using it here on out unless in thick timber or brush, or archery hunting.

Well, don't I feel like an idiot... When I posted the picture I was thinking something didn't look right... I'll see if I have any others that show a decent comparison. If not, I'll have to take some of just the rack and the shed.

This was from the 2006 AZ general season. I believe the shed was from this buck. I found it the day before I shot him.

If you're referring to the Moultrie camera, I have a length of cable that just wraps around it and attaches to the padlock clasp on the side. It fits really snug. I then run another cable through that and around the tree I put it on. Someone could still get to it, but it will hopefully slow them dow...
