Re: KSL

Sent! No more KSL for me. It's obvious where they stand on the 2nd amendment and our rights as Americans.

The beginning of the end

KSL.com says they are "temporarily" taking down firearm listings in their classifieds. We'll see. With so many shops closing their doors to firearm sales in the wake of recent events it wouldn't surprise me if it became permanent. Yes what happended Is extremely sad and should never have happened, b...

Pheasant hunting without the bells and whistles?

I met a gentleman the other day while duck hunting that suggested i take my 15 month old Lab/Weimaraner pup to a pheasant preserve to see how she does on pheasants. Today I was looking at the ones I could find online and there has to be other options than just these high dollar, wait on you hand and...

Re: Broke ear?

I saw a doe in the book cliffs here in Utah with a similar looking ear a few months ago. It wouldn't perk up or turn at all like the other one. I have pictures of it somewhere I think.

Re: Aurora Colorado Tragedy

I just got home from 8 days at work and this post is the first I had heard of this horrible act of violence. My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by such a senseless and selfish act. What on earth drives a person to do a thing like this I will never understand in a million years. May the...

Re: New gun

Love my Rem 700 .270. Use it for deer and elk both. Same pep as a 30-06 with a flatter flying bullet. Best "all around" caliber in my opinion. But you do get what you pay for. I'm not a fan of savage, but that's my personal opinion. Go for the Rem 700 or the Win 70 as stated above and you won't be d...

Re: Success!

Not near as exciting as yours, but I'm pretty stoked about my late season (January) cow elk tag. Pretty much guaranteed meat in the freezer come January. It's been far too long!!

Re: Have they caught the fella that was roaming through Zion

A couple of months ago a buddy of mine went for a run in the Bookcliffs. When he got back he reported that he came around a corner and saw a guy on the tree line. When the guy saw him he took off. There was no vehicle around and no recent tire tracks. Another crazy hermit maybe?

Re: Daughter's first kill

Congrats! Good target practice. Good meat in the freezer. But most importantly, good times spent, and good lessons learned! Keep up the good work!
