They will be up high, I'd bet on it. Back packing in somewhere will reduce the number of people you will encounter. The elk will be high too. I've never had much luck out there, so I've taken to hunt in American Fork canyon close to where I live.

I set this camera out in early May on a hike with some neighbors. I haven't touched it since so Saturday I set the others out and brought this one in for repairs. The same bear that wrecked it last year has it out for it again this year, even in a diferent spot, as you can see. #-o Handsome fella do...
