Leupold Windriver spotting scope
This has been sitting in my closet and I forgot I had it. Its the Windriver 15-45x60 straight spotting scope. It is in great shape with just some rub marks on the rubber but glass is perfect. I do not have the original box, only the neoprene case w/strap. Scope has the caps. $200 shipped in the USA ...

Re: Southern Utah Deer
i have hunted in the general area as you have indicated. I notice that the years following a rifle hunt that can access the top of the divide between bullion and big johns is never a good sign for the next years hunting. Last year i hiked back in about 4 mile only to come upon a tent in the middle ...

Re: Southern Utah Deer
I was in So. Utah last weekend scouting a few areas and I was impressed with what I saw. Nothing huge, but a number of decent bucks. On Saturday morning I saw a bachelor group of about 5 bucks. Again nothing too big, but 2 of the 5 appear they will be shooters come archery season. All the boys were...

Re: Southern Utah Deer
I have been talking to a buddy of mine in Utah and he sounds real discouraging. Says the deer number are way down and that is why they cut the number of tags they gave out. Told me to expect to see Mule Deer on endangered species list if this keeps up. I hope it isn't as bad as he tells it. The last...

Southern Utah Deer
Well I got drawn for General Deer. Not sure where I am going to hunt yet. Hard to scout when I am 500 miles away and these gas prices. I know it is still early but how do the deer herds look this year to you locals?

Re: Looking for a new rifle
I have always shot a 7mm. Bought my first Ruger in 7mm when I was 17. The barrel got rusted so I had to buy a new one. All my buddies tried to talk me into a Rem700. I did some research and decided on a Savage also in 7mm. I handloaded my own ammo and am able to put 3 shots in a penny size hole. Can...

Re: Arizona Elk Hunting
Those are nice. I would fling an arrow at any one of them. I have never hunted or applied in Arizona. Most of my hunting is rifle in Utah. I have harvested a few dear locally with my bow though. A buddy of mine is trying to talk me into archery elk hunting in Northern Utah but from what I understand...
