I've had the same Ripcord rest on four different bows now. The only thing I've done is replace the frayed cord once. It's been flawless. And for $8, I put the Code Red arm on it.

I use a longer stabilizer. A lot of them are just vibration dampners, they don't reall stabilize. I think what you have is modular, so you can stack them. The longer they are, the more accuarate you can be at longer distances.
