Re: First bow kill
Great job!! 10sign: That's gotta be cool. I haven't got my first yet. We headed up to the Uintas, and as it turns out the 150% of the snow pack came so fast it killed a lot of deer last winter so there wasn't much to shoot at. That bull I got a picture of wasn't there, and the buck we patterned wasn...

Re: What Broadhead do you like?
I like Muzzys and Wasps, not from experience, because I''m new to bow hunting, but from recommendations from folks who have been at it a while. This will sound dumb, but the Wasps look really cool. The guy who said Muzzys are the best is a guy I've talked to for quite a while now. He said something ...

Now we're talking
I finally got a picture of this elk. I've had this camara out for a couple of weeks, and this is the best thing that's happened yet.

Re: Recomendations on Trail Camera's
I strapped my first cam to a tree a couple of weeks ago, and it's a Wildview. What I like about it the most is the loop on the side of the housing. It allows you to chain it to a tree so honest people don't steal it. I think I have a picture of a guy trying to do just that!

Re: FREE 3D shoot in Utah
That sounds like fun. I'm starting to scout some property that day. So I can't make it. Being a rookie, I've never shot 3D.

Re: Cold weather?
I have a Wildview, and in the manual it says the temp range is between 14 and 104 degrees. I set mine out after Christmas and it did the same thing. After it thawed out it worked fine with the same batteries. Electronic devices have temperature ranges in which they work. If you notice the ATMs at ba...

Re: String supressor?
I have this type: http://www.fusearchery.com/stealthshot/index.php It quiets it some. All you hear is the string hitting the rubber instead of hearing an occillating string so the noise is much shorter in duration. I think the type of noise is less distruptive in the peaceful forest. Just my $.02 wo...

Re: hey all you archery rats
The new Bear Truth 2 makes me wipe my chin about every 30 seconds. I don't need a new bow. Heck, I just learned to shoot my Obsession bow. But I dig those dual string suppressors. And if Will Primos says it's good, I gotta have one (Maybe I can get away with buying one next year). lol Being the spee...

GPS selection
I'm looking at GPS units, and until a few days ago I knew nothing about them. After reading up on them, I like the Garmin GPSMAP 60 http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20712-cat21350&id=0030216227150a&...
