Re: your bow setup and pics

Here's mine. An '05 Bear Obsession set at 70 pounds, equipped with a Black Gold Flash Point sight, Fuse string suppressor, and a Quikee 6 arrow quiver. The arrows are Gold tip Pro Hunters.

That's awesome! I guess the question is put to rest then. I won't worry about it.

Being new to archery, that is all I've shot with, and that's one thing I really like. Now with the feed back from you guys I won...

Re: Wisker Biscuit/Fall Away Rest

Point very well taken BOHNTR I will admit I was thinking about buying one a few years back and all the threads I was reading were very heated and decided not to take a chance based on reports of poor long range accuracy. That pretty well puts that issue to rest, thanks for posting that. I have...

Thanks, Kemo. That's kinda what I figured. As inexperienced as I am I wanted another opinion.

Wisker Biscuit/Fall Away Rest

My Bear Obsession bow has a Wisker Biscuit rest, and I was wondering if there is a big advantage to using a fall away rest instead. I had a Spot Hog Whammy in mind. Is that something that would increase accuracey/vcelocity?

Hmmmm... I won't screw with them then.

Re: What about offset vanes?

Helical fletching or offset don’t think it really matters. I would never put a fletching on straight for an arrow shooting a broadhead. I personally prefer a helical. Thanks for that insight. These WILL eventually have hunting tips on 'em. I guess as expensive as they are, I should have known they ...
