Re: wolf's
This is BS. Someone should shoot them before they start breeding and over running the state.

Re: Coal Mine near Alton - Thoughts?
What was in the article? I tried the link and came up empty. I hope the fear of change doesn't freak the locals out. Anywhere can use a boost to the economy. Coal mines bring great paying jobs, with good benefits. Would be a good thing to a small community. People often flip out about these types of...

Re: Coyote Bounty Increase Approved - Utah
I can't wait to read the reply by CoyoteLJ. We started a conversation about this a little bit ago in the Coyote Hunting section, and he has done a ton of research on the topic. Let's just say he opposes the idea. :) There is a lot to think about, especially in regards to keeping people honest. I agr...

Re: Deer Populations
Probably a little better than last year, but no snow means more human interaction with deer. I've seen deer being pushed around by shed hunters. So maybe the fawn population will increase, and maybe not. Antler growth should be better though.

Re: Are the elk shedding in utah yet?
I've seen some that have dropped and some that are still packing. I have video from last week of a few bulls knocking each other around. Guessing that means their horns are still solid. I'd say grab the binos, and watch them every chance you can. Shouldn't be long. But then again, last year a lot of...

Cool! You're doing better than I am. Looks like you have found a good spot or two, with all of those white ones.

Re: Thinking about a new bow
I shoot an Elite Archery bow, and have killed many a deer with it. It's plenty fast, feels good albeit a little heavy. I've been around a few Mathews, and they are way quiet. Impressively quiet, even. My friend is a die hard Hoyt fan. He shoots a lot of competition with them and swears there isn't a...

I like the symmetrical look best, but I have yet to hang trash on the wall, so I'd be looking at the non-typical pretty hard.

Re: Local Bulls
Wow, already? Guess I had better keep a closer eye on the few I've found.dahlmer wrote:Stopped by to check on these bulls last night and both bulls have shed their antlers. I was a litle surprised, I've only seen one other bull shed his antlers before heading back up the mountain.
