Re: First time out coyote hunting!

I look at washes, ravines, and other natural drainages. Coyotes like to travel these. Farms are always good, lots of stuff for them to eat around those. Pick areas where there aren't many people. Coyotes are everywhere, but the ones close to town have seen and heard everything. They'll be difficult ...

Re: yote hunting

I called two in this morning, they came in from the right and I got busted. They seen me turning to take a shot and they split back into the thick brush faster than I could get'em. Now they're educated!! Hate when that happens. Went out the other day. Called two in, a buddy missed the shot. They ca...

Re: All still packin

Bonehead, I've seen a small bull moose a few times up near Old Folks Flat. No idea where you'd find him this time of year. He's not a bruiser, but would be cool to have just the same. Where you from shags you out of emery and carbon county too? I have seen one up there too and a few on gentry mount...

Re: Utah draw

Oh and if anyone wants to "see" your unofficial odds of drawing a certain tag, drop a line to derekp1999. He's a self proclaimed "numbers nut" and has a formula to figure it out. He put the offer out there somewhere else on the site. I can't remember where though.

Re: Need to see this!

Looks like an awesome place to me. I have to go through there for work and it's definitely not the most scenic place on Earth, and you have to love to fly kites. The wind never stops blowing. Big wind. I've heard about some awesome elk herds around that area from some of the coworkers, but that is ...

Re: Reloading Question

E-mail Alliant Powders. They have a great supporting staff. I've asked them questions before and they get back pretty quick. They can give you an answer one way or the other. I use RL-22 for my .270 Win. and it's a powder that Alliant recommends for it and magnums. (i.e. .300 win mag, 7mm mag.) So m...

Re: new Utah Shed season

If people could do things responsibly, then there wouldn't have to be so much regulation. Think about it this way. How many company policies are created after somebody messes up and gets hurt or property gets destroyed? Answer: All of them. Another example. Cell phone use while driving. It's now ill...

Yeah, I thought about that after I saw how they reacted to my efforts.
