Re: Hockey Fans?
Hiker,
Sorry, I somehow have been skipping this thread?
I live in western Massachusetts.
Sorry about the car wreck, I would have to give it up as well if it meant the chance of
not being able to enjoy the rest of my life "playing" with my family.

Re: what rifle do you hunt with?
My forum name is a giveaway, I too shoot a Lazzeroni, the 30 cal. Warbird.
It was given to me as a bonus at work(best way to keep employees in my opinion).
I use it for all but eastern whitetails, a Browning A-bolt in 30-06 gets the nod there.

Hockey and hunting, those are my vice's.
I coach the local high school , play a couple of nights a week, and travel to play in 3-4 tournaments a year.
Any pro game I'll watch, but you got to love CSN for all the college games.

Re: Help me with a load for my TC Omega Z-5
Hiker, I haven't tried the Platinums but I was very disapointed in the aero tips 2 years ago elk hunting Colorado. My buddy and I both used them and although we both killed bulls the penetratrion was less than stellar. I would hate to have a bull at 80yds. We do use them for whitetails and have neve...

Re: 300 savage whats it worth?
Buckmaster, What ever you do, unless you need to put food on the table for your family, DON'T sell that gun. Treasure it as a piece of history but more importantly as a piece of your Dad's past. When the day comes you can pass it along to your son. I wish I had something of my Grandfathers to rememb...
