Wow Nice idea that will take care of the dull blades the Ulmer's have. With that setup, each broadhead would be worth about $20-$25 bucks! That's an expensive head if you miss and it hits something hard... But to each his own. I can still get 6 muzzy heads that are plenty sharp for $25. Hard to bea...

There is a guy on Archery Talk that built a "Ulmer Rage" as he calls it. It is the Ulmer Edge Ferrule with the 2" blades from a Rage. He claims it flies like a dart and has a 2" cut. I agree with Tonoonyi... sounds like the spine of the arrows if wrong, especially if they are hitting right... they are too stiff. Try a heavy head and see what happens or try picking up a lighter spined arrow. If you want those arrows to work, turn up the poundage. I am shooting an Alphamax at 72 l...

Agreed. I got tired of re-fletching arrows. It get old after the first few.
