Re: Got my double cheaters buck down
What a buck! Well done keeping track of him for 3 years, and assuming this is general season public land I'm impressed you were able to not take him last year, congrats and thanks for the post

Re: My Any Bull Elk tag says 2013 Fish on it.....
I'm no expert, but in my sheer opinion I'd say you're fine. The printed information is all there and correct (specifically where it says the description of the tag (Any Legal Weapon Any Bull Elk) and the season dates...Good luck on the hunt!

Happy Valley..Happy River..Happy Fisherman

I'm working out kinks, developing skills, and missing more fish than I'd like to admit for about the first hour Most about this size - Not ...

27.5" Cutthroat!!
So I finally get to the lake, I figure I've got about 2 hours of sunlight left. The water level looks pretty low, but as scenic as the whole view was there's no way I'm not rippin lips tonight! I already had a black streamer rigged up on my reel, and I'm too anxious to bother switching it out even t...

Re: Otter Creek or Scofield
Hey cool to hear, thanks for the tips Spoofman. And no worries, I still loved trying! I'm new to fly fishing so it was good practice for me even if I didn't hook up. The lunkers are in there! I'll get 'em this summer and fall http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/blogsfishing/56147789-83/reservoir-trout-brow...

Re: Otter Creek or Scofield
Unfortunately I missed the aggressive ice off action at Otter Creek, not too surprising as its been a few weeks, but didn't do too hot. Between 4 of us, 5 rainbows were caught. Fish were caught on both power bait (differet colors) & worm/mellow. 4 of the fish were dinks, still growing up (which I'm ...

Otter Creek or Scofield
I'm thinking about heading to either Otter Creek or Scofield tomorrow morning to try my luck, any recent reports? Or anyone fished it this time of year ever? I've only done summer fishing at these places, so this will be new for me. No boat, so I'll be on shore (might bring a float tube, not sure if...
