Instead of pine boughs, I use sagebrush. Same concept, different odor.

I use Predator Sniper Styx for coyotes. They are pretty close to Stoney Points but the Predators are one piece and come in Mossy Oak Brush camo. They ran me about $40 and I love them.

I also have a lot of footage of baby red foxes emerging from their den. They took up residence under an abandoned house on the outskirts of town. I have close to 3 hours of them running around.

I have some footage of some desert bighorns here in SW CO. Alot of it is shaky, (tripod broke bailing off a rock and the wind was HOWLING) but I did get some pretty good shots when they posed on the cliff for me. It is on 8mm if that will work. I also have some fuzzy footage of a great buck I chased...

Must be a small world because I have family in Gila Bend and Phoenix, AZ. Which Johnson's are your family? My brother-in-law works for Elston. And I have worked junior rodeo's with Rodney. Just curious how small it really is.

I'm a mule deer fanatic and avid bowhunter from the sticks of southwest Colorado (700 people in town). I started to say I never hunt with a rifle but during the winter chasing predators I can be caught carrying my 22-250. :-$

If you are just starting into predator calling be prepared for a lot more "unsuccessful" days than successful. It takes a while to learn the ropes, the trick is to keep it fun and always learn something no matter what the outcome is.
