Re: 5 Day Deer Rifle Hunt in utah 2010
Im not trying to say that any of you are wrong or that im right.. I dont think there is enough scientific proof to prove if a 5 day hunt is better or not. But speaking from my own experience and the number of deer and trophy animals I have seen, I believe that the 5 day hunt is very productive in he...

Re: Utah Gov Buck Killed!!
Brett, thank you for bringing some sanity to this thread... Everyone is gonna have their opinions, but the only person that should really care about how how the animal was taken (if taken legally) was the hunter.. I couldnt agree with you more on everything you said...

Re: Utah Gov Buck Killed!!
Great Buck.... As for all the backtalk and people bashing.. You are all entitiled to your opinion but just remember one mans opinion is gonna be different from anothers. Do I agree with everything? No, but I also think Doyle gets alot of haters because he is succesful. Have any of you ever had a cha...

Re: -Poachers-
I highly doubt that the case mentioned above is related. The deer that were retrieved when I was out there were not being processed for consumption... They were killed strictly for their antlers.. So hopefully someone will be able to report something on them... I may head out a lot the next few week...

-Poachers-

I was with the DWR officer today as he was bringing out 5 deer that were recently poached. 3 bucks, 2 does... 2 Bucks had the skull plate cut off and one still had it on. It was a nice 160's size buck. ...

Re: Spotting scope tripod recs
IMO.. any bogen/manfroto tripod with a video style head will be awesome for a spotting scope tripod. They are a little pricey, but well worth the money... I have the carbon fiber leg model which makes it much lighter. I love it.. If you are not wanting to spend 300-400 dollars on a setup I have seen...
