well i do not know that blue mountain area at all but i would suggest that you stop in vernal and just ask for some help. i live in roosevelt and if someone came asking for areas with elk because they had a cow elk tag and needed the meat id be more than willing to give some "low bull" elk areas. carltons makes some really good diaghrams also. i always had problems with the metal in the primos hurting the roof of my mouth and the hard plastic domes actually cut my mouth a few times. The guys at my workplace hate when hunting season gets close. most are hunters and i still use that call enoug...

extended boundries?
I live in the uintah basin and have never hunted the extended season and am going to try it this year. I thought that you could only hunt private land during the season but can not really find anything that states this while flipping through the proclomation? am i making things up in my head???

So i was looking at the badlands sacrifice but have heard some stories about problems hauling out meat. I really wanted it for the weight and the fact that its over the 3000 mark. I will be using my pack for backcountry bow hunting and if later seasons are like this years i would worry about leaving...

i have never heard a season, or a protection on them. they are rodents and i dont need a tag to kill mice... i have shot a few with a air pistol but they were getting into the cabin so selfdefense! but id really like to know if i can do it freely! anyone know for certain?
