I do. And I put a scope on my .223 so I could see the look on the jackrabbit's face just before the hollowpoint hits. #-o

Count me in! And while we are at it, what about a forum on reloading? To reduce liability, there could be a restriction on exact loads, but could be a great location for sharing tips and opinions on different equipment or calibers.

I think my best deer hunt was probably two years after I got married. My wife went with me and we had a babysitter (grandma) lined up for the whole day. Left home at about 6:30 and headed to the hills. We were back home by 8:30 with a nice 3-pt hanging in the garage all skinned out by 9:00. Grandma ...

I like my Remmy 760 in the '06. As a lefty, I prefer the pumps and levers. I have a Browning BLR that I love to shoot, but it is a .223 and does a great job on varmints. Would like to find one (and the $$ to buy it with) in the 7mm-08 for deer and pronghorn.

I like the '06, mainly because it is heavy enough for elk or moose and can be loaded down for the varmints. However, I have been considering buying a 7mm-08... I have hunted with the same '06 for 25 years and it has never failed me yet. Now, because I am a lefty, I prefer the Rem 760 (or 76 or 7600)...

I think both are excellent rounds for varmints. Personally, I would go with the slightly larger 22-250 for greater downrange energy plus it could be used (in a pinch) for deer or pronghorn in some states. Reloading components are cheaper and the 22-250 cases can be made from the .308 or .243 which a...

I like to chase rabbits with .38 specials and the .223 I go after mainly jacks, so the hide or meat aren't an issue. I use the revolver for the up-close shots or to get them running. After they get out there a ways and start feeling safe again, I find them with the scope on the .223 with the 50gr ho...

That is one ugly duck. Looks like a cross between a platypus and a Greenwing.

Seriously though, nice job on the pic. I like the way Bill appears to be walking on water.
