Not everyone has that good of an opening day. Congrats to the lucky hunters. My first son was born a little of 3 weeks ago and I can't wait until he is old enough to hunt with me.

Great deer!! I definitely would have been shooting had I seen something that big.

I don't think I am a fan of going back to the nine day hunt but maybe there will be less pressure in the middle of the week so you can get out and really hunt.
