They were also supposed to post bighorn and mt goat draw on April 24 and I had to wait until May 4. Not that it mattered though, have to wait another year and hope.

This is kind of hindsight and probaly won't help much now but before I do anything to my bow I put timing marks on my cams. That way I always now where my alignment was before.

I shoot the '06 Tribute and I love it. Yes the cams tend to lean but I can consistently place arrows at 70 yards. Hand shock is virtually nonexistent and it is oh so smooth to draw. I shoot blazers and have no trouble. As far as it being slower, I shoot a 27 1/2" draw at 60 pounds and I am pushing 2...

In the 50's and 60's there wasn't an extreme overpopulation of deer or elk when wolves weren't being shipped in. Deer and elk have enough predators (i.e. bears, lions, coyotes) without having to make things worse with wolves. Throw in loss of habitat and it is a wonder that the herds are doing as we...

I think my camo wishes it had more of an off season. I use it all winter, in through the spring and few times in the summer chasing coyotes. But I don't store it when I'm not using it. It doesn't take long for sage to break down and lose it's scent. Even during hunting season I have to change out th...

I have parachute cord that has a tensile strength of 200 pounds and it is a lot smaller than that so I think it is possible that the rope could hold him. Judging by the pictures I wouldn't guess that bear is over 250 lbs.

Wolves aren't good to keep populations in control; they decimate them. With no regulation on wolf numbers, the impact they have on herd numbers is disgusting. They have been left alone and are wreaking havoc everywhere they go because of this.
