Honestly, I would still contact nikon on your other range finder ,give them the chance to make it right before you spend your hard earned money on another one. They'll never forget that hunt. I still remember the first time I was with my dad and he killed a deer. A little spike that he shot at 200 yards with a 30-30 /4 power scope. The thought of it being little never crossed my mind at all. That was 30 + years ago. (Crazy how time flies) but good for you ...

It has been a ton of fun. I see that in the previous years I had kids forgotten what hunting was really about and was putting to much pressure on myself trying to kill big animals.
