I took all my kids with me
Some funny things happened on all the trips. One that comes to mind was with my middle daughter. She was 12 and it was her first deer hunt. We were walking along and she says "Dad, there's a water melon seed on your back... and it has legs! Good description of a tick! This is the hunter she turned i...

No way
are they the same. I shot Noslers for years but when CA went non lead (in our area) we had to look at Barnes. It took a while to figure them out but now I wouldnt shoot anything else.

I shoot both and in my not so humble opinion...
I like the .300 WSM because Im a reloader. Getting the same performance with 12% less powder is huge to me. Also cutting 1LB. off the wt is big when you are packing that thing around. I shoot the 168 gr Barnes TTSX I bought my wife a Remington Mod 7 and put a muzzle brake on it and it recoils like a...

Why wasn't "None of the above" a choice?
I think the 22-250 with a 50 gr BT is the best combo

Re: CVA Wolf Muzzleloader?
I think the Optima is the best MZL on the market for the money.
Though the optima willl do fine.
I have a number of CVA rifles and havent had any problems. I've killed deer, elk and bear with them
The important thing is finding the right load/charge combo.
