AWSOME!

congrats to you RIDGETOP, that looks like a dandy sheep! I'll have to go check on your hunting adventure challenge and read some more.

again, Great job. Anytime you can say you killed the biggest animal in your unit- i'd say you did VERY well!

It's official! Just wanted you guys to know that my ram has beaten the state record SCI. He came in at 170 3/8 and the old record was 166 and change.

Amazing looking ram. Congrats ridge. Did you end up taking it with a muzzy like you hoped to do?

No. I had a couple chances with my muzzy or at least I was in range but didn't have it with me that day. With the big snow storm coming in on the day I got him, I decided not to risk a bad shot and loosing him or blowing him out and not getting a shot at all. I had a hunch he would be high up in the cliffs that day, so I only took the 7mm mag. with me. One shot and he was dead in his tracks. The Barnes VOR-TX 160 grain STX BT really did a great job. We also got the kill shot on video.

Right now he nets 169 4/8 B &C but we'll see after six more weeks for the drying period to end. He just might make the awards period as a Rocky. :not-worthy
AWESOME!!! That is way cool! Makes your once in a lifetime hunt that much better! Can't wait to see more pics! 10sign:
