Wish I was there pics! Big Horn Fight!

Post by MuleyMadness » Wed Nov 15, 2006 6:37 pm

Okay I'm jealous on this one, no need to lie about it.

This is something I've always wanted to see in person...these photos are compliments of my cousin Marv Wilson who I deer hunted with a couple of weeks ago.

He just recently got to witness these sheep clash a couple of days ago. Crazy cool, hope you guys enjoy as much as I did looking at them.

Wish I would have been there...

I especially LOVE how they give each other the "eye" stare down, before the battle. Awesome stuff!!

Oh man oh man, do I wish I could have been there with my camera and zoom lens. Maybe some day if I'm really lucky.

Okay I gotta quit talking to myself, and see what you guys think.

That would really be something to see. I especially like the pic of both on their hind feet getting ready to charge one another!
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

WOW! Those are some great lookin' pics!

I had the EXTREME fortune to witness this same thing two years ago while steelhead fishing on the Snake River just upriver from Asotin WA. I completely forgot about the steelies and just watched in awe for about 1/2 hour while the two big rams went at it. The only thing I was thinking while watching those two beautiful rams was "Wow, this is just like the footage I saw on "Wild America" with Marty Stouffer when I was a kid"! Absolutely the coolest thing I had ever seen in the wild.
