Got my Bou back Today :-)

Post by Cvrn » Mon Jun 11, 2007 8:05 pm

Finally got my Caribou mount back today. He is from last year in N.W.T Archery Hunt in August.

I was really impressed with the Taxi's work

Wow, to reiterate the others, really good mount!

I never thought I would like one in velvet but yours looks really really good, why not throw out a plug for the taxi if he has a website? That caribou looks majestic!

Thanks!

The Taxidermist that did it was in Canada. He was kinda the camp Taxidermist. His name is Joey not sure of his last name but it was JB Taxidermy, got to now him pretty good while in camp.

We had four mounts done between the five of us and all of them are AWESOME!

That is one of the best looking mounts of a caribou that I have ever seen. The caribou itself looks like a dandy and I love the velvet. Congrats.
Cut it on em!

very nice mount, my dads a taxidermist aswell, I got one question. did the taxidermist air brush the around the eye's? as my father does to alot of his mounts. But carabou are a light coloured animal so i dont know if the lids are light or dark.
I've climbed 2 mountains. Found this guy, camped out on top of the world. I'm goin to get that ram. Thoughts of a commited sheep hunter. Work the next day, who cares, wife or girlfriend, THANK GOD! i'm hunting sheep and not at home.
