Monster ram shot last weekend by my partners hunting buddy, he shot it right where we happened to not go this year. :>/ He's huge, 39.5 on one side and 40 on the other, 15 inch bases. Just a spectacular ram. What i was choked about was he was with 4 other rams, the one next to him was his identical brother, but Bob was alone, not a soul in sight, to get the other ram. It was a great hunt.

Now that is just plain AWESOME right there! One of the prettiest Big Game Animals 'out there' IMO.

What a BEAUTY!!

So you're saying you had a tag also?? How difficult is it to get a tag?

Tell your friend CONGRATS!! Thanks for the photos, truly an awesome animal.

There were five rams shot out of that hunting area this year, all fairly big, in the area we hunt the horn needs to be past the bridge of the nose not the eye line, classifying them as mature. My dad has taken 2 out of there, neighbor/hunting buddy has 1, and his friends have some. Hard country to hunt because its not open, all canyon work, so u go from one canyon to the next until u find a legal ram, and as u see its not flat country! got nothing this year, mabey next year. Hard work and persistence will seal the deal.
