No, I actually live in the low desert area of California........East of Palm Springs. LOTS of yotes in the desert areas around here.

With nothing really going on this weekend (except some college homework), I decided to go out and try calling some predators this morning. A quick 15 minute drive from my house here in the desert, and I started calling. I managed to call this song dog in and stick him at 35 yards. I'm really starting to like this predator stuff!

Well, this late in life, I decided I'd finally finish my degree. I was hired 23 years ago with my associates degree.......so I'm working on my BA now in Criminal Justice Administration. Better late than never, eh? :)

man Roy, you sure do have fun with your bow!

i'm always impressed with your bucks you consistantly kill, but a yote with a bow might even be a greater trophy-difficulty speaking.

great job! just gives me something else to try sometime :thumb
Great pics Roy! One dead yote. I just bought a FoxPro and haven't had time to use it yet. Going for the 150 to 200yders with a 17cal. Quiet, fast and deadly. (when there is no wind. lol)
.17 cal for coyotes.......don't work that well from my experice. I shot a coyote straight in the chest from 35 yards with my .17HMR and he took off running hundreds of yards. Looked for hours and still couldn't find him.
I use .22-250,that drops'em dead in their tracks
