Is a Utah cougar harvest objective tag worth a try?
Been thinking about getting one..... No dogs. What do you think?

Never done it myself, have thought about it though. Without dogs it would be REAL tough IMO.

Hunting cats without dogs isnt impossible! Snow helps! Here in South Dakota thats the only way we can do it and so far this year there has been 47 taken since January. And that is with very little snow. I personally think it ads a little bit of thrill to the hunt following tracks!

Harvest objectives are fun but you have to call in and see if the unit you want to hunt has been filled before you go. The weather isn't as good usually cause the snow is melting but you can still get a cat

Why is this in the mule deer section?
There's always next year

It is very possible but you either need to be very lucky or spend a lot of time out. I am not sure how utahs season works but I have killed 3 in AZ without dogs and that number would be 5 if I shot better.
