hand held VS. electronic.

Post by BUNNY SLAYER » Thu Jan 04, 2007 10:58 pm

ive been yote calling a lot theselast couple of mounths and was wondering, what works better, a hand held ( the kind you blow in) or the electronic kind? ive taken both kinds and they seem to work about the same. called a few in with the hand held, called a few in with the electronic. so in your past times what works better for you?

I would think the electronic calls would be better because you can set up behind the call 50 or so yards away and hide behind some cover. The 'yotes are paying attention to where the sound is coming from, not from where you are. Just opinion, not fact as I haven't used one.
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

I just try to use what everyone else isn't using. I have called in dogs with both but I prefer mouth calls simply for the fact that I like the variety I get. As far as what works better I think it depends on being unique. Keep changing it up every time you hit a certain area.
