already a lucky year

well I'm kicking this year 0ff batting 50%--- i drew the hardest tag in the state to draw for spring bear! west blue mts. but i got skunked for wyoming! i'm excited season starts 4-15 i will probably be pretty picky, i have a 378lb dark brown full bady mount that i killed in New mexico with my bow, and a355 lb. cole black bear in a full rug that i killed in oregon with a rifle. so it will either have to be pretty big or a way different color faze to shoot it------ but you never know i might get itchy finger!

CONGRATS Killerbee! You'll be huntin' near my neck of the woods. I live just north of the Blues on the WA side.

i went last weekend and we saw 14 bears- only 1 was black and it was a cub following its momma. there were a lot of different colors. i plan on going next week for 4 days so hopfully we can close the deal on a big 1.
