Elk Scouting/Coyote Hunt
Elk Scouting/Coyote Hunt
Good Day all:
Been down scouting for the Elk season, but what better time to reduce the coyote population, last week harvested 2 dogs but did not pack the camera. This week not as good hunting, just one small dog, but I did bring the camera. He came in looking for the rabbit but found 55gr bullet from a .223 at 125 yards.
Elk scouting went very well, bulls are singing in the morning.

Good job, the best coyote is a dead coyote!
I'm still trying to hold off another month till the fur gets good, but boy it gets hard when you hear them sounding off in the morning.

The valley that I have been working has 2 packs of dogs in there, they sound off every morning about 5 o’clock, they gather about the same area for the morning songs, just getting them to the calls, one pack on the north of the creek the other on the south, this is a north side member.
Best of luck
