If your hunting black bears with a bow, what are your recomendations, ie bow weight, broadhead weight, fixed or mechanicals. And also do any of you have a few pictures that might help someone know were to aim at a black bear from different angles both on the ground or in a tree stand? Thanks in advance.

Cameron Hanes "Backcountry BowHunting, A Guide to the Wild Side" has some bow and broadhead recommendations. It has a section on bear hunting with a bow and comes with a DVD that has a few bear hunts.

Actually, the same outfit you use for deer, elk, etc., is more than adequate. Heck, I shot clean through one with a 50 lb recurve, wood arrow, and Zwickey heads. They're fun to bowhunt........especially spot-n-stalk.
