Wolves in NW Oregon?

Post by pram-z » Mon Dec 14, 2009 12:09 am

Where to start? , my son and I were out on a second season Elk hunt with a friend, who was the only tag holder, when my son thought he saw an elk, as he threw up his binos he saw what he thought was a wolf at about 400 hundred yrds. Now he knows what coyotes look like, and said it would have had to be on seroids, saying it was at least 100 lbs or more. Now the rumor is a local fellow may have released some of his hybrids, but he wouldn't admit to it. I just checked my trailcam, which is about a mile away and 2+ weeks later, and saw a picture, which a first, looks like a wolf, by the way it carrys it's tail, but could be a coyote also. Just wondered if anyone has had a similar expereance?

There has been some documented cases of Wolfs and coyotes breed in the UP of Mich.

If a guy was has some hybreeds and they got away, any thing could happen
