Here are a few shots of one of the bulls that hangs with the crown bull.

This is for all those who worry that the flash will scare every thing out of the country.

And closer

This picture was taken almost 3 weeks ago. By today this bull would be hard horned and I would have had my camera ripped out of the tree again.

I have a few more good shots from this spring. I'll try and post them later. I don't want to wear out my welcome all at once.
If you look in the back ground under the big pine tree on the left, you can see a dark spot on the ground. That's the mud around the spring. The water comes to the surface there for some reason and makes a puddle about 3 feet across.
It never flows enough to run out of the puddle and even in these 7 years of drought it has never dried up. And the weird thing is that it is located way up on the side of a really steep ridge not too far below the ridgeline. It's not where you would ever think that a spring would be. Later, Treetop

Because they shed sooner, thus they start growing sooner, thus they rub sooner.

Basically, sooner, sooner, sooner. Might as well throw in one more SOONER just for fun.
