What bait do you use?
I have noticed that about half of all trail cam photos are taken over bait. What do you guys use?

For early spring and summer up to just before the archery season salt works wonders.

I've used salt (non block form) and Trophy Rock. But I don't use either anymore.

Not to be an idiot, but I use water... find a couple well used trails leaving a water source and place the camera 50 to 100 yards up one of the trails. I don't want to haul salt blocks around.

I use deer caine. The gallon jugs. I've never had much success with the powder.

No bait here for Colorado....but to get spring bear on camera (not allowed to hunt spring bear here) I just use some donuts and bacon grease. Works everytime
