RoadRunner

Post by MuleyMadness » Fri Dec 22, 2006 12:58 pm

Don't know if to many of you guys have RoadRunners running around your neck of the woods, but I was 'out n about' the other day and came across this one.

Almost every time I see them, they do this weird 'puff up' the back of their bodies/feather thing. Kinda strange, I assume it's to possibly confuse prey or camo themselves?

Anyway kinda strange and sorta ugly really. :)

And it looks like the shot bounced off! :)) There are some things that don't look good no matter how much makeup they wear.

How much trouble was it to get that picture any way? By the way Brett. I think you live down by St George don't you? Have you gone into the Virgin River area and found any sheep? I think they are desert's. I saw one in there one time but couldn't stop the truck.

Don,

Yes I'm in St. George, those sheep are tough to find. I've seen one driving through also, no camera at the time. No I haven't been out looking for them, I simply don't know where to go. I need to find out though, cause I'd sure like to get some pics of them.
