Cutthroat Trout

Post by MuleyMadness » Fri Jun 30, 2006 6:59 pm

Went fishing a few days ago to a small stream here in Southern Utah, absolutley beautiful country.

Caught this little Cutthroat trout on a Panther Martin Spinner.

Was pleasantly surprised at his size for the stream (it's small), he was about 12 inches or so.

How can someone not like fishing? Okay, that might be a stretch.

I really enjoy TROUT, they are so unique and the colors just are fascinating!

IdahoMuley,

I understand your point, but it's definitely a cutthroat. There is/are no brookies in this stream and he does have the red V on the underside of his jaw.

Not as noticeable as yours or as bright.

Very cool picture BTW, beauty!!
