While up camping this last weekend, I was out walking around and jumped a doe and a fawn that couldn't have been more than a day old. The doe was going crazy, but I had to take a quick photo. I have never seen a fawn this young in person. So I took 3 quick photos and then vacated the area quickly. Pretty cool.

I'm really amazed mama let you get as close as you did. You're pretty lucky, both in getting the great pics and surviving to post 'em!

I found one like that about 10yrs ago up behind the house. The doe busted out then looked back at me. Imoved some more and she did it again. So I went toward her and she left. Went to where she first came out of and there was the little bugger. Have found some baby antelope like that too. But they were big enought to walk but boy could they run. I think they are born running!
