weekend pics 79ford look here!

I took Cody and Shelby out for a little chukar huntm sunday...... Didnt find any birds, but took a few photos. It was a very clear day, I usually can't see Timp from atop that hill.

79ford, here are some pics of my solid axle conversion.
The axle, trac bar, and radius arms are from a 78 F150.
I fabbed the upper trac bar bracket and the radius arm brackets.
6" lift Sky jacker coils, extended braided brake lines.
Tons of other mods to go along with it, but you get the general idea.
$4,000 later: 7" overall lift, 4.56 gears, open front, locked rear, 35" tires.
It has excellent highway manners and wheels better than anything I've been in!!

Very nice conversion Chet! When there are no birds to be found at least you can have fun in the mud holes :thumb

Lock that front and then you will really be amazed. Great pics BTW!
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

I know.... waiting til I can afford an electric locker and chromoly shafts. another $1000.

I know what you mean. I'm still trying to convince myself I REALLY need to get rid of my IFS. If I were to put a locker on that it would last me...oh...about as long as I wait to put my foot on the skinny peddle.
