Here are some photos from the weekend.
Felt good to finally get out and enjoy the beauties of nature in 2009.

Baby Jack Rabbits, guess how many??
Yes I had a Turkey tag, and the one on the left looked huge to me. He just laughed at me as he was on Private Property.

Very cool pics! too bad that turkey was on private property. It always seems to work like that for me too. I got my Wife on a Monster buck on the last day of the hunt last year. Just as we got in range and had a clear shot he jumped the fence and we watched him walk off into the sunset!

Very nice. Looks like one of those two "decent bucks" has some width potential. He growing out not up.
Yesterday I saw a car killed buck near camp williams. Its a shame because the velvet antlers were already about 10" straight out on either side of the skull and just barely turning upwards. The bases were huge. He would have been awesome to see with full head dress.

"Some day I'll scout out a monster, spot him while hunting, make the stalk of a lifetime, and have dreams come true. 'Til then I'll be happy with the buck in my cross-hairs."

Great photos Brett!
It's nice to see the velvet already progessing well!
