Moose

Post by RoTuN » Tue Oct 27, 2009 9:49 am

Didn't see this site had a section dedicated to photog. until just now. Anyway, I think this is a great site with alot of activity. I'm shooting with either a Nikon D200, a Fuji compact for those can't miss shots or a 7mm Rem Mag depending on what the subject is. Here's pics of 2 moose we saw on our deer hunt.

They were approx. 30 yds from us, the bull starting charging a tree after awhile getting pissed we were there so we split.

Thank you, I was using my hi-speed 200mm sports lens with an 1.4 teleconverter, giving me 280mm. I need to get a 400mm for this type of shooting though, I was lucky they were so close.

I really like the colors that are showing up in the reflection of the water. Very pretty pictures. fatrooster.
