Rifle Slings you like.

I'm thinking about getting a new rifle sling. I've been using the Butler Creek neoprene sling for many moons now and it has been a decent sling. I was wondering what slings everyone here uses and likes. I looked at a few and thought Browning was putting out some that looked like they would be comfortable. Has anyone used these?

I use Butlers Creek and Quaker Claw slings. They are both really nice and comfortable. I also have some leather slings that I have made and some have been handed down.

I'm kind of old school as I only like leather slings.

I appreciate the feedback. I checked out the recommendations on the net and they all look real nice its going to be tough to decide which one to go with.

I have many different slings and the Browning ones are some of the most comfortable. I like the look and feel of good ole' cow hide though...

A friend of mine (now deceased) designed a sling called the Ching Sling. It's very fast, rock steady and really comfortable. Highly recommended.

I would say Claw hands down. the rubber they are made of sticks on your shoulder like nothing else. IMO there is nothing worse than you sling sliding off your shoulder when you have to wear bulkier jackets.

I like slings more for shooting function then carrying so the slings I like are:

Montana sling 1 1/4" fast and snugs up great in hasty position
les tam slings, traditional m1907 Natl match type great in hasty or cuff. simply the finest of this type of sling. there is normally a several month wait for these slings.
New England custom Gun "classic safari" a bridle leather and 1 1/2" canvas with a couple of non slip rubber strips in it for carrying. snugs up nice in hasty.
