Badlands 2800 Loaded pics

Post by StickBoy » Fri Aug 27, 2010 1:05 pm

Last year was the first year running a badlands 2800 on a deer hunt. I was able to get both loins and one hind quarter inside with my gear but struggled for lash down points for the head and cape. Does anyone have any picks they would be willing to share showing a head and cape lashed to the outside of the pack?

Before this pack I used a large ruck with frame from my military days. 50' of 550 cord and you can carry a Volkswagon bug :). The Badlands is much more comfy.

Thanks in advance guys.

Here is mine with this years buck attached. I forgot to attach the lower strap. I fixed that after the picture. Great pack. I like it more every time I haul something in it. This year I have hauled a couple mulies and my buddies spike bull.

My pak hauled all or part of six muleys and two elk. Zippers are still in perfect condition!

This was my third season with my new 2800. I still have my old 2800 which I used for two years. Both are still in perfect condition.
