Bear Bow Stability

Post by naterball » Sat Feb 25, 2012 9:42 am

I have had my 2010 Bear Attack for about a year now and I have always shot with a stabilizer on. It was removed for some new painting and I went and shot anyway without. Surprisingly it felt more stable than ever. Are some bows meant to shoot without a stabilizer? My current stabilizer is about 6 inches and weighs around 5 ounces. I am curious if maybe a smaller stabilizer might work better as well?
