GPS for IPhone???

Who makes a good GPS app for the IPhone? I'm looking for something that will work well for hunting out West.

Not sure about an app, but I think there would be issues when you got out of range of your cell provider causing a lack of service. Cant go wrong with Garmin!

My thoughts as well.... I would imagine you'd be out of luck without service. I'm looking into a getting a GPS as well!

I tried an app on my iphone that was $10 and it worked with out cell service but without cell service all it could do is show where I was at on a solid green outline representing national forest. No roads, terrain, reference points, nothing! I bought Garmin Oregon last year and it was best decision I've ever made!

I would have to say Garmin. There are various models. Oregon is by far the best but a bit costly. Much lower is the Nuvi, or you can go for the GPSMap 62S. As long as it's Garmin, you'll do fine. :thumb
