I also use this lens with my Canon Digital Rebel XT.

Ben a good small lens for all around use.

Brett, my daughter is enjoying her new canon rebel xti. She was trying to take pictures of a butterfly and was asking how to do it better. I think this 50 would probably do a nice job. If she was looking to go with a macro, do you have any thoughts between the canon ef50 and the canon ef-s 60 other than price. Thanks, Randy

Having never used the 60mm myself, tough question to answer.

But the 60 mm gets fantastic reviews, check this website/link out for details on that lens....

That lens is the best buy ( 70.00 ) for your money !!

Not nessesaraly the best made but VERY VERY sharp !!!!!!!! :thumb :thumb
