Pentax K-10
Pentax K-10
I have the new Pentax k-10 and the camera is AWESOME!
I just shoot with a 70-300 and can get great pictures, my problem is I bought a 2x Teleconverter and my pictures are not good at all. anyone else have clarity issues when using a 2x on there camera?

That is a fantastic camera you have. I think almost all cameras don't shoot well with a 2x doubler. I'd try a 1.4 extender and it should work much better for you.
I know on the Canons this is the case. They are just not that great period IMO.
Awesome camera you have though, I considered getting that one.

Simply researching and reviews kept me with Canon. I had friend try to tell me that the Nikon D70 was the best digital camera out there when I bought mine.
I basically felt the Canon Digital Rebel XT was the best camera on the market for the price at the time I bought it.
So that is simply the reason why I did.
I spent a TON of time on http://www.dpreview.com and several other sites asking questions and simply reading/reviewing. I then helped talk my dad into buying one, and a couple of months later after seeing a feeling it first hand decided it was the one I wanted and took the plunge.
Don't get me wrong, there is and are other GREAT choices out there but I'm happy with mine for several reasons I guess. No need to change or upgrade at this point.
