scopes

Post by Hemi » Sun Jun 01, 2008 3:33 pm

ok I am looking for a new scope for my30-06 I am looking in the price range of 250 to 400 dollars I have looked at the nikon 3-9x40 with bdc for 259 or leupolds rifleman 3-9x40 which one is best for allowing more light in under early am and later pm hunting and I am aware that for better scopes I will pay more for them so any input is welcomed

Dont get the rifleman becuase it has friction adjustment and in in 100 degree weather they will move on their own so make sure the adjustments are click. :thumb

You may want to look at http://www.opticsplanet.com and see the Bushnell Elite 3200 series of scopes. They have some good deals right now.

thanks guys for the input , after further investigating I think I am going to go with the bushnell elite 3200 5-15x40 it seems like the kind of scope I need for 100 yards and longer so I found that Bear Basin outfitters has the lowest price for that scope with sales tax and free shipping 343.00 its like 40 to 60 dollars cheaper than other places so check it out
