Kansas Bucks

Post by krj1053 » Thu Aug 18, 2011 10:46 am

I just signed up and wanted to say hello and post a couple of pictures of some bucks I'm watching out in western Kansas. Any other KS hunters here?

I was also curious as to what you guys thought these bucks might score?

Nice pictures. I've never seen deer in water like that before. As far as score I would guess mid 130's to low140's.

My camera is set out in a draw on a CRP field. It rained about five inches the night before, filling it up. The water is long gone now, but it made for some neat pictures.

Welcome!

Great pics, by the way!

I'm not the best as guessing scores but he looks to be around 130". I've always wanted to hunt KS for whitetail but after seeing some of the mulies coming out of that state over the last handful of years I can see why folks are lookin' a little harder at them.

Thanks for the input everyone. I was guessing them both to be around 130-140 as well. The second one has some good width but not much tine length at all. Hopefully some more bucks will walk by. I have to wait until my brother in law is back to check the camera for me.
