Unit 2b New Mexico
Re: Unit 2b New Mexico
Awesome deer! You and your boy should be very proud. Sounds like the hunt was tough, but I'll bet he got more out of it than simply driving out and shooting one from the road on the first morning. Hard work and patience pays off!

That's a really good buck for the lad! Congratulations to him and kudos to dad for spending the time up there with him. Awesome trip!

That's a great buck! Congratulations on the successful hunt! That buck puts my first buck to shame by a LONG ways. It sounds like you've successfully added another hunter to the obsession. Good work!

Re: Unit 2b New Mexico
Heading out tomorrow to 2b to see if we can't scare up any hucks like the one in the pics above; what a beauty kaibab! Doesn't sound like the migration has really kicked in yet, so planning to head south of the highway. Any last minute info would be appreciated, especially from anyone that just finished the early rifle hunt. Hope to have a good report for you all later this week.
