I think the guys hinting around the high 160's are going to be pretty close. He is not super massive but a dang good buck everyway else. Hard to judge them type of deer, good everywhere makes em' tough to field score.

Nice lookin buck, but he'll only score about 160ish this year. His spread is 24 inches at the most and his front forks are way to small for him to score great. Give him some better mass and some great big front forks and, even with his width, he could go closer to 180.

I have a question along these lines also.. I've never even tried to score a buck. I can guess and come close, but have never tried to score one. Dad shot this buck back in 70' or 71', I wonder what it would have scored? It measures 31" in width, the base is right at 5" in circum., what other dimensions do you need?
